guitar and bass lessons
We offer private, one-to-one guitar and bass tuition, both online and in person. We welcome all ages and skill levels. Beginners are absolutely encouraged to get in touch.
all you need to know
Our approach to music education is focused around collaboration, technique, enjoyment and development. Our pricing starts at £25 per half an hour, or £40 an hour. Discounts are applied when booking lessons in bulk. All new students start with a brief Zoom lesson/consultation so we can meet, talk about your goals, and ensure the best possible start to your learning journey.
Who Lessons Are For
Our lessons are ideal for:
Complete beginners who don’t know where to start
Players who feel “stuck” and want to break past a plateau
Children and teenagers learning their first instrument
Adults returning to music after years away
Songwriters who want to understand their instrument better
Students preparing for grades, performances, or auditions
Anyone who simply wants to enjoy playing music more
You don’t need any prior experience. You just need the interest.
How Lessons Work
One-to-one sessions
Available online or in person
Weekly lessons recommended for best progress
Clear direction each week so you always know what to work on
Friendly, supportive environment where questions are encouraged
Parents are welcome to discuss progress, and adult learners are treated as collaborators in their own development.
What You’ll Learn
Lessons are always tailored to the individual, but typically include:
Core technique and good playing habits from day one
Chords, riffs, scales, and songs you actually want to play
Rhythm, timing, and playing with confidence
Understanding how music works (without it feeling like school)
Improvisation, creativity, and musical expression
Guidance on practice so you improve between lessons
We balance structure with flexibility, so learning feels motivating, not overwhelming.
For Parents
Learning an instrument builds confidence, patience, creativity, and focus. Lessons are paced carefully so students feel encouraged rather than pressured, and progress is always celebrated.
We aim to make lessons something your child looks forward to each week.
